With a reported mintage of 228,250 pieces, the 1920 double eagle is available in grades through MS64, plus grades are rare and Gems are all but nonexistent, with only twelve coins above the Choice level in the combined certified population (10/24). This impressive Choice plus example exhibits well-detailed design elements and lustrous orange-gold surfaces with a few minor contact marks on each side.
