BD-6 merits its own Guide Book listing, and can be attributed at a glance, as the only 1806 variety with a Knob 6. The obverse star arrangement also differs, as the other five 1806 marriages have a better-balanced placement of 8 stars left and 5 stars right. The present BD-6 example shows a hint of wear on Liberty’s forehead and shoulder. The mildly glossy yellow-gold surfaces are clashed, but marks are inconsequential.
