The 1927-D Peace Silver Dollar seldom appears in grades above MS64, with the finest pieces known being Premium Gems, or MS66. Top-grade coins are rarely offered. The present example is beautifully preserved, yielding satin luster and boldly struck devices. An amber and jade patina on the largely cream-gray surfaces attest to their originality and produce splendid visual appeal. Registry-grade 1927-D dollars such as this are incredible rarities.
